Stag Beetle revisited .
Following on from this thread http://ru-titley-knives.tumblr.com/post/68260197849/the-long-jaw-stag-beetle-knife-i-was-inspired back in Nov 2013 I was asked by a good customer and collector of my work if I would agree to sell on my Stag Beetle .
Based on a long jawed beetle from Indonesia its made up from etched old high carbon saw blade steel with double layered copper glad G-10 computer board scales to make up the head thorax and abdomen with hand made mosaic pins for the eye .
It recently traveled to its new home in the US with a rustic leather pocket slip and a wood / copper and rare earth magnet desk stand that allows the knife to be positioned in multiple poses.
